The City is currently working to implement sidewalk cafe regulations in the Downtown Area. The goal of the regulations is to allow for the harmonious use of the sidewalks in the area for both pedestrians and businesses. In order to ensure that the pedestrian traffic is not impeded by the private use of the public right-of-way, the City has drafted code additions that will be presented to City Council for first reading April 23, 2018.
